YŪGIN is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier with Sake Knowledge to join our team. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for curating an exceptional sake selection, providing expert recommendations to members and guests, ensuring an outstanding dining experience. Job Responsibilities:
Assist guests in selecting sake & wines that pair well with their dishes
Requirements:
Must be Strong Team player Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining establishment In-depth knowledge of sake, wines, liquors and spirits from different regions around the world
Strong understanding of food and beverage pairing principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for members and their guests Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems
Must understand and uphold DOH standards
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to handle items that weigh up to 50lbs.
