Job Title: PYP Coordinator (Assistant Principal)

Key Responsibilities (directly from official description):
1.Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the PYP curriculum in collaboration with teachers.
2.Ensure the curriculum aligns with IB PYP standards and practices and is accessible to all students.
3.Facilitate the integration of transdisciplinary themes, the IB Learner Profile, and Approaches to Learning (ATL) across all subject areas.
4.Support teachers in developing and reviewing Unit Planners, ensuring effective inquiry‑based learning.
5.Organize and lead professional development workshops and meetings to deepen staff understanding of the IB PYP framework.
6.Mentor and support teachers in inquiry‑based teaching, assessment strategies, and best practices.
7.Serve as the main liaison between the school and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
8.Oversee the programme evaluation and authorization process with the IB, ensuring compliance with IB standards.
9.Oversee the development and implementation of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and learning outcomes.
10.Work with teachers to analyze assessment data and use findings to inform curriculum planning and instruction.

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
2.Teaching certification and IB‑recognized training in PYP leadership.
3.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IB PYP leadership role.
4.Strong knowledge of IB PYP curriculum framework, inquiry‑based teaching, and assessment strategies.
5.Proven ability to lead and manage curriculum development and professional development for teachers.
6.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
