Job Title: Paralegal / Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Direct Hire opportunity is located in Coral Gables, FL and offers an Onsite work arrangement. The position plays an important role in supporting litigation matters through all stages of the legal process, helping legal professionals manage case activity, maintain compliance with court requirements, and prepare critical documentation. Ideal candidates bring strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams and external stakeholders.
Compensation:
Up to $75,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Paralegal / Legal Assistant:

• Coordinate litigation matters from initial intake through resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and timely progression of case activities.
• Analyze, organize, and summarize records and supporting materials, including medical and financial documentation, to assist with legal case strategy and preparation.
• Maintain court related schedules, monitor deadlines, and ensure filings, legal documents, and case activities remain on track.
• Prepare trial support materials, organize exhibits and evidence, and facilitate the assembly of resources needed for hearings and court proceedings.
• Deliver regular case updates, support reporting requirements, track billable time, and assist with additional administrative and legal support functions as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Paralegal / Legal Assistant:

• Minimum of three years of paralegal or legal support experience, with prior exposure to litigation environments strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or a combination of relevant education and training from an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Florida court procedures, legal documentation standards, and civil litigation processes.
• Experience conducting legal research, reviewing records, managing case files, and utilizing legal research platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and workload management skills, including the ability to manage deadlines, support billing activities, and collaborate with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and third party professionals.
