TL Worldwide Transportation, a trusted provider with over 50 years of service in Northeast Ohio, is seeking caring and safety-focused School Van Drivers in Akron, Ohio. This part-time, permanent position offers a consistent weekday schedule, transporting special education and day-treatment students to and from schools and agency locations. Responsibilities

• Safely transport special education and day-treatment passengers to and from assigned schools and agency locations
• Operate a company-owned, well-maintained vehicle
• Provide patient, courteous, and professional service to all passengers
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and transportation instructions
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff
• Complete required vehicle safety inspections before each shift
• Adhere to company policies and all applicable transportation and safety requirements
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful transportation experience for all passengers

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio driver's license
• Safe and acceptable driving record
• At least 21 years of age (some routes or assignments may require drivers to be 25 or older)
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-service physical
• Ability to pass required drug screening
• Ability to complete background screening appropriate for working with children and vulnerable passengers
• Dependable and punctual for both morning and afternoon split shifts
• Demonstrates patience, professionalism, and good judgment
• Ability to follow GPS directions, assigned routes, and transportation procedures

Compensation

$17.00–$30.00 per hour , based on qualifications, credentials, assigned route, availability, and experience. Drivers are paid weekly and typically work approximately 20 hours per week.
