Popcorn Potential is seeking experienced Marketing & Communications professionals who are interested in applying their communication, networking and relationship-building capabilities within an independent professional environment.

This is a remote contractor role suited to experienced professionals who value autonomy, flexibility and continued professional development.

About the Opportunity

This is not a traditional marketing or communications position .

Rather than managing marketing campaigns on behalf of an employer, you will apply your existing professional capabilities in areas including communication, relationship development, digital engagement and professional networking.

Working independently within established systems and processes, you will have the opportunity to develop additional skills while building professional relationships through digital channels.

Key Activities

Depending on your experience and interests, your activities may include:

• Developing and maintaining professional relationships through digital networking
• Communicating with individuals interested in professional and leadership development
• Facilitating conversations and sharing relevant information and resources
• Using platforms such as LinkedIn, Zoom and email for professional communication
• Building and expanding professional networks
• Participating in structured training and professional development
• Learning and implementing established systems and processes
• Managing your own schedule, priorities and professional activity

Your existing marketing experience can be particularly valuable in understanding audiences, communicating ideas clearly and building authentic professional connections.

About You

We're looking for established professionals who bring a strong foundation in marketing, communications or related disciplines.

Relevant backgrounds may include:

• Marketing

You will ideally have:

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience engaging audiences or building professional relationships
• Strong organisational and self-management skills
• The ability to work independently
• A willingness to learn new systems and approaches
• An interest in leadership, professional development and lifelong learning
