Job Title: Sr. Litigation Legal Assistant

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite direct hire opportunity in Farmingdale, NJ offers the chance to work closely with legal professionals in a fast paced environment handling litigation related matters and administrative support activities. The position plays an important role in maintaining organized case management processes, ensuring timely document preparation, and supporting communication with a variety of external parties. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

Compensation:
$63,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (35 hour work week with lunch breaks)

Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Litigation Legal Assistant:

• Support litigation activities through the preparation, review, and organization of legal correspondence, forms, and case related documentation.
• Coordinate communications with clients, legal professionals, courts, and regulatory entities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Oversee case administration tasks including document management, electronic submissions, records maintenance, scanning, and filing activities.
• Facilitate attorney support by managing calendars, tracking important dates, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining timekeeping records.
• Conduct legal and case related research while ensuring information is organized and readily accessible for ongoing matters.

Qualifications and Skills for the Sr. Litigation Legal Assistant:

• Previous experience performing both legal assistant and paralegal functions within a litigation focused environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel for document creation, editing, and data management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy while handling a substantial workload.
• Experience utilizing legal research resources and electronic court filing platforms in support of case management needs.
• Ability to notarize documents and maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
