Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Pay : up to $50/hr. per diem for eligible candidates

Shift: 1st shift, OT available

Type of Position: 6 month/ open contract to hire

**Open to any rotary wing airframe mechanic experience including Military aircraft**

Job Description

The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft in a repair station environment. This role supports both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on helicopter platforms including Agusta, Bell, Airbus, Sikorsky, and MD.
• Complete heavy maintenance and component overhauls as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems.
• Document all work in accordance with FAA regulations and repair station manuals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Valid FAA A&P License (preferred not required)
• 3–5+ years of civilian helicopter maintenance experience or military rotary-wing maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience performing inspections and heavy maintenance.
• True helicopter maintenance experience (not solely crew chief or flightline support).
• Experience in a repair station or similar environment.
• Must have own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• P145 Repair Station Experience
• Experience across Agusta, Airbus / Eurocopter, Bell, Sikorsky platforms.
• Military candidates with documented heavy maintenance experience on rotary aircraft.

Work Environment

This FAA-certified repair station provides maintenance and inspections, including major avionics upgrades, engine repairs, and modifications to airframes. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Croydon, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
